If you completed an online AHA BLS class or online AHA ACLS class, you still need an in-person skills test in order to receive your AHA provider card.

If you have not yet completed the online part of an ACLS or BLS course, we recommend that you take the entire class in-person. In-person basic life support and advanced cardiac life support classes are more likely to be AHA approved. In addition, the hands on approach also provides better training vs. online simulations.
