BLS (cpr) for St. Louis Students | Dental School and Medical School

Basic Life Support (BLS or cpr for healthcare providers) is required for dental students and medical school students. BLS certification must be American Heart Association (AHA) approved. There are currently many online BLS certification courses available, however most are not AHA approved. And even the one AHA approved BLS course online must be followed up with an in-person skills check in order for the individual to receive their AHA provider card.

It is often hard to find a stress-free, hands-on, fast and well organized 1st time BLS class in the St. Louis Missouri area. Alth0ugh many hospitals in the area offer them, actually finding one that meets these criteria and scheduling one is a different story.

If you are a dental student or medical student – at Washington University, St. Louis University, or other dental school or medical school in the St. Louis region – you can get an AHA approved Basic Life Support cpr class at ACLS-BLS St. Louis

BLS 1st time classes cover 1 and 2 rescuer cpr for adults, child/infant, bag-mask, child and infant compressions and choking, airways, etc.
