CPR for STLCC Nursing School | Nursing Student CPR St. Louis

If you are a Nursing Student or entering into the nursing program at St. Louis Community College, STLCC, then you must be CPR Basic Life Support BLS certified with the American Heart Association (AHA).

Basic Life Support CPR is required for all St. Louis Community College STLCC nursing students before they can participate in clinicals at St. Louis hospitals. The CPR must be AHA certified for adults, children and infants. It must cover rescue breathing, chest compressions, choking, AED Training, etc for healthcare providers.

After successfully completing the course you will be awarded a 2 year AHA BLS CPR provider card. This card is required for all STLCC nursing students, as well as license nursing who work in St. Louis Hospitals.
